Lee County Parks and Recreation believes and encourages all individuals to participate in recreation and leisure activities of their choice. We welcome people with disabilities into all recreation programs being offered. To ensure you have the best experience possible please contact our Special Needs/Inclusion programmers prior to registration to assist in any accommodations that may be needed. Special Needs/Recreation Therapy
Special Needs/Inclusion programs are being offered throughout the year for individuals with various disabilities. Programs such as Summer Camp, Spring Break Camp, and Adventure days for children and teens in school. Adult outings for Individuals with Mental Retardation and/or Developmental Disabilities. There are always inclusion opportunities in the various community recreation facilities and their programs. Contact our Special Needs/Inclusion programs office for confidential assistance to review your recreation, leisure and social needs. Our office is always open to suggestions for recreation and leisure programs.

Adaptive Sports
Lee County Parks and Recreation Special Needs/Inclusion programs has resources list of various adaptive sports available in the Lee County and Florida area.
